Most areas in Alexis require a building permit for permanent structures. Typical requirements: (1) Submit site plan showing placement location, (2) Provide engineered drawings — we include Illinois-certified engineering plans with your order at no extra cost, (3) Pay the local permit fee (usually $50-$500 depending on structure size). Contact your local Alexis building department before ordering. We can help you understand your specific requirements.

Rent-to-own lets you get your building installed immediately with no money down and no credit check. Here's how it works: (1) Choose your building and apply — approval takes minutes, (2) Make monthly payments over 36 or 48 months, (3) At any point, you can pay off the remaining balance early with no penalty. The maximum across all RTO contracts is $16,000. Example: a $5,000 carport is roughly $229/month over 36 months. The building is yours once fully paid.

Every order includes: (1) Free delivery to your Alexis property — no mileage charges, (2) Professional installation by a trained crew — typically completed in 1 day, (3) All hardware, fasteners, and anchoring system, (4) Illinois-certified engineering drawings for permits, (5) 20-year rust-through warranty. You just need a level site (concrete pad, gravel, or compacted earth). We'll coordinate the delivery date 48-72 hours in advance.

Yes. Extreme seasonal variation — frigid winters below 0°F, hot humid summers above 95°F. Tornado Alley extends through central Illinois. Heavy snowfall in northern regions. We engineer structures specifically for Illinois's conditions: wind loads (avg 10-14 mph in your area), snow loads (avg 30-50 inches), and local building code requirements. Certified options go up to 170 MPH wind and 65 PSF snow load. For Alexis, we recommend structures certified to your local code requirements.

(3) Cash/check: Pay in full and skip financing costs entirely.

Before your crew arrives in Alexis: (1) Choose placement — your building needs at least 2 feet of clearance from property lines (check your local county setback requirements), (2) Prepare the surface — a level concrete pad is ideal, but compacted gravel or earth also works, (3) Mark utilities — know where underground water, gas, sewer, and electrical lines run, (4) Ensure access — the delivery truck needs a clear path at least 12 feet wide. We'll go over all this when you order.
