Metal Building Warranty

12-Gauge Warranty: For 12-gauge and 12-gauge certified buildings (which may include some 14-gauge elements), Get Carports provides a 20-year
warranty against rust-through on framing elements and roofing materials, assuming normal care and maintenance. This warranty does not cover horizontal roofs over 31 feet.​

Certified Building Warranty: Certified units are warranted to withstand specified wind and snow loads for 20 years, as detailed in the engineer-certified drawings provided at installation.

Workmanship Warranty

Get Carports ensures that all installations are free from defects in workmanship. If any defect arises, it must be reported within 365 days following installation. The determination of what constitutes a defect in workmanship will adhere to standard industry guidelines, including:

• Trim and sheeting cuts
• Materials free from defects
• Proper installation of anchors, doors, and windows

Exclusions

The workmanship warranty does not cover:

• Leaks at the seam of any A-Frame or Regular roof building
• Installation issues arising from non-level or non-square sites provided by the buyer
• Lack of normal care and maintenance by the buyer

General Warranty Exclusions

The following situations will void the warranty:

• Contact of framing elements with corrosive materials such as soils, fertilizers, chemicals, or moisture-retaining substances
• Failure to remove debris or provide proper drainage of water from frame surfaces
• Damage from corrosive environments, storms, or acts of God
• Alterations, abuse, or misuse of the unit by the buyer

Limitation of Liability

• Get Carports reserves the right to repair or replace the affected unit at its discretion if an issue arises under the warranty.
• These warranties are comprehensive and exclusive, with no other warranties, either expressed or implied, provided. Get Carports is not liable for incidental
  or consequential damages, including damage to other property.
